Job Title: Finance Officer

Process transactions and payroll, produce reports.

Salary:     £10,800 for 14 hrs p.w. (£27,000 p.a., pro rata)

Holidays:   30 days p.a. including bank holidays pro-rata

Location: Newcastle               Period:  Jan 2020 – Dec 2022

Main Tasks

  • Process and record all financial transactions in line with IPC policies, using the QuickBooks Online system
  • Produce finance reports for management and for the funder, as required.
  • Process project payroll details, and record on QuickBooks.
  • Maintain confidentiality and data security in line with our policies and current legislation
  • Assist the project Manager to achieve the requirements of the funded project, as agreed from time to time.

Personal requirements

  • Accounting experience: minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in similar role.
  • Appropriate qualification.
  • MS Office Skills ( Word and Excel)   [to be tested at interview]
  • Good written and verbal communication and organisation skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Methodical and thorough approach to work

Job Title:  Data Administrator

Maintain the database by gathering,entering and verifying data

Salary:     up to £17,500 (dependent on experience)

Holidays:   30 days p.a. including bank holidays

Location: Newcastle, with some travel to Teesside (driving is not necessary).

JOB Description

Main Tasks

  • Gather data from project workers each week as required.
  • Review the data for completeness and accuracy, liaise with project workers as necessary.
  • Enter data into Excel spreadsheets and our database;  resolving problems.
  • Generate data analysis reports as required by Project Manager
  • Maintain confidentiality and data security in line with our policies and current legislation
  • Assist the project staff to achieve the requirements of the funded project, as agreed from time to time.
